Had the chance to stop by DC Bites last week and had one of the best chicken and rice platters I’ve had in this city. Tried again today and the food was just as good. The owners are also lovely people. This spot is quickly coming a casual fave.
Had the chicken over rice and it was delicious - perfectly seasoned and generous portions. Doobie provided excellent service, super friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Quality food at a fair price with outstanding customer service. Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu! Glad to have DC Bites in the neighborhood - hope they stick around! Highly recommend giving them a try.
Amazing chicken over rice! Honestly, the best I have had — even better than New York City halal carts. The chicken quantity is amazing and worth every dollar. We had ordered pick up, but it started raining, so we decided to dine inside. They were sweet to offer us an umbrella and simply said we can bring back any time. We asked if they had chai, which they don’t on the menu, but they made for us regardless. Amazing hospitality :)
